Safety And Behaviour On School Buses

School buses offer a great opportunity for pupils to travel to school with their friends. Hopefully they’ll enjoy their journeys, but at the same time their safety needs to be maintained, and everyone remain stress-free. This means their behaviour needs to be suitable for the situation and that they respect the driver and their vehicle.

The School Transport Team at County Hall work hard to deal with any problem that arise, and they can provide their expert advice to help solve any problems, working with parents, schools and transport providers. If you need their help with any School Transport issue, you can call them on 0845 345 9155 or visit their School Travel webpages on the Somerset County Council website.

You may find it useful to look at the handy guides on how to catch and behave on the school bus, in the Related Information box on the right of this page.
