Sign-up for Taunton 50/50 cycle ride

Sunday 6 June 2010 sees the 15th Annual 50/50 Cycle Ride, an event which has raised well over £140,000 since it began.

The route starts and finishes at the Somerset College, Taunton and offers cyclists the choice of six rides from 11 to 57 miles around the foothills of the Quantocks, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Riders can choose to do either a 11, 18, 28, 38, 46 or 57-mile cycle ride routes, giving cyclists of all ages and abilities the chance to take part, enjoy cycling and raise money for charity.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Taunton 50% of the money raised by a rider goes to a charity of their choice, the other 50% goes to Rotary charities, including the Musgrove Leukaemic Group Somerset. Every penny raised by way of sponsorship goes to charity.

Entry costs £10 per rider, and covers administration costs and includes an exclusive 50/50 T-Shirt. There is a special entry fee of £20 for a family of up to four with £3 per additional child thereafter and £5 for students.
