No charging changes for NHS patients
The coalition government has decided not to provide free-for-all NHS parking, but will provide concessions to those with frequent appointments or with specific illness (such as renal or cancer etc) and reimbursements for those on low incomes.
The current cost of parking is to remain at the discretion of local NHS providers, but NHS providers will be encouraged to to publicise the concessions more widely.
