New - 9:40am Taunton to Yeovil bus service

First have introduced a number of changes to their bus services from 5th September.

Among these are adding a service from Taunton to Yeovil at 9:40am. Previously, there was a gap between 8:40 and 9:40am. It is hoped that this service will be attractive to people travelling to Yeovil for mid-morning business meetings and makes the use of the 54 a much more viable option.

There are also a number of service withdrawals which First says are due to low customer demand, whilst a number of services have been retimed to make services "more consistent and improve reliability".
