Mendip Community Transport Needs You!

Would you like to do something worthwhile with your spare time and help to make a difference to people's lives? Do you own your own car? If so, how about becoming a volunteer car driver with Mendip Community Transport?

The organisation is looking for volunteers in the Cheddar, Axbridge and Mendip areas to help in transporting elderly, frail and disadvantaged people to medical appointments at a variety of Hospitals as part of the Dial a Ride - Community Car Scheme.

Mendip Community Transport covers the insurance of their volunteer drivers whilst working with them, i.e. Loss of No Claims Bonus, Excess and also Public liability. They also reimburse costs with a competitive mileage rate.
