Major work to Junction 25 of M5

Major work began on 12 September to Junction 25 of the M5 and is expected to last five weeks.  The junction roundabout is worn out and will have substantial re-surfacing and repairs.  The aging concrete carriageways will be ripped up, traffic signal loops updated and bicycle paths and pavements repaired.

The A358 from the M5 to Ilminster will also be given a facelift.  The nine miles length will have substantial resurfacing and reconstruction.  Work will be carried out at night and daytime traffic should be unaffected.  Works have been planned so there is as little disruption as possible while doing significant construction work.
