Horse sets good travel example

Staff at Wrexham station were somewhat bemused this week when a man attempted to by train tickets for himself and his pony.

Undeterred when staff told him that horses were not allowed on trains, the man continued to lead him into the lift, down to the platform and on to the 19.02 to Holyhead, where a conductor finally said "neigh" to the pony's travel plans.

We applaud the horses's use of sustainable travel options, but suggest that walking might be a more suitable option than public transport!
