Change your journey, change your world

Would you like the chance to win prizes in return for pledging to travel more sustainably? Could you drive one less journey a week?

Sustrans are inviting people to pledge to make a journey by foot, bike or public transport as part of their ‘Change Your World’ campaign. They have set a goal of getting enough journeys pledged to make a virtual trip around the world by 4 July 2010.  

Change your worldAs a reward for making your pledge, you’ll automatically be entered into a draw to win prizes including a family break at Center Parcs, Riverford organic veg box delivery and cookbook, and a spa treatment at a Lush Spa.

Right now in the UK two out of five local journeys of less than five miles are made in a sustainable way. Sustrans wants to see this double to four out of five.

As individuals each of us can make small changes, like driving one less journey a week, or taking public transport now and again, and it will add up to make a big difference.
