Winter Steam Festival
The West Somerset Railway Winter Steam Festival is a two-day event which offers visitors the chance to experience a ‘Great Western Branchline atmosphere’ and see the West Somerset countryside from the comfort of a warm train.
The event is expected to have five steam engines in action from days gone by. There will be seven services each way between Bishop’s Lydeard and Minehead on both days. Most trains will have buffet cars selling a variety of Somerset Beers and Ciders, hot and cold drinks, soup, sandwiches and snacks.
