Tour of Wessex
The Tour of Wessex Cyclosportive is the only multi stage sportive in UK and it is one of the biggest cycling challenges that you will ever take part in. 325 miles (520 km) in 3 days is real test even for the very strongest riders.
However, there are less taxing courses available, meaning that cyclists of all abilities and levels of stamina can take part - you can ride a single stage and chose from distances of 12 miles, 76 miles, 102 miles, 117 miles and 106 miles.
This truly is a large scale event with over 2,300 cyclists taking part in the 2009 event over the three days.
Experience the wonderful history of Wessex: Glastonbury Tor, Cheddar Gorge, King Alfred's Tower, the Cerne Abbas Giant, the Jurassic Coast, Corfe Castle, Milton Abbas, Sherborne Castle, Dunster Castle, Exmoor National Park are just some of the sights you will see en route.
