Tour Series 2010 - Exeter

On the evening of Thursday 3 June 2010 the centre of Exeter will again be hosting the Tour Series professional cycle race. The 2009 event was one of most exciting events the city has seen in recent years and the team has ambitions to make 2010 bigger and better!

The Tour Series is a programme of 10 televised (ITV4) city centre cycle races with 50 professional racers competing for victory as they make laps of a 1.5km circuit. The event will give residents and vwitness first hand the thrills and spills of professional cycling and also see Olympic Gold medallists and World Champions racing alongside hopefuls for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The race is taking place in half-term and will mark the culmination of a day of activities creating a festival of cycling in the city all aimed at giving families the chance to witness displays, take part in activities and learn about opportunities to get cycling in Exeter and Devon – all free of charge!
