Go Yeovil! Pedometer Challenge

The people of Yeovil are being challenged to record the steps they make everyday for a week from 13 - 20 June 2010.

You can join the Pedometer Challenge as an individual or with other colleagues at your place of work.

To take part, pledge your support at one of the locations below by making a £3 and collecting your pedometer and step count form. These will be available the week before the challenge begins from:

  • ASDA, Yeovil (Customer Services and Checkouts)
  • TESCO, Yeovil (Customer Services)
  • Tourist Information Centre, Petters Way
  • Yeovil Town Council Offices, Union Street
  • Yeovil District Hospital (Reception)
  • Yeovil Hospice
  • Western Gazette Offices, Sherborne Road

You may choose to simply do the same things that you do every day or you may decide to do some extra steps that week - there will be all sorts of opportunities to join in activity around the town which will add to your step count. Every step you make will add to Yeovil's Big Green Footprint!
