The Chain Gang of Frome are organising a volunteer work day to help advance the campaign to complete the cycling
and walking link between Radstock and Frome. On the 4th and 5th of February 2012 the Chain Gang would like to invite you to come along to Buckland Bridge,
Elm Lane near Frome and get your hands dirty by clearing the land ready for constructing a section of new cycle
track. The volunteer day is part of the wider project to extend the National Cycle Network into Frome on a family
friendly off-road track. Just two miles outside of Frome town centre lies the start of a virtually traffic free cycle route that takes cyclists and pedestrians to Radstock and then on to Bath. For a long time plans have been in place to continue this route alongside the existing railway line, onto the riverside footpath and into Frome. By engaging public
support we are confident we can complete the route. For further information and to log your interest in taking pary in the the volunteer day please check out the
