Somerset County Council’s annual Smarter Travel Management Awards are here to reward businesses who have demonstrated good business sense in helping their staff to get to work and their customers to access their products and services.

Who wins?

Each year, awards will be given to up to ten organisations or groups in Somerset that have demonstrated their commitment to reducing:

  • carbon emissions
  • transport costs
  • staff time spent travelling

- and improving the health and productivity of their workforce.

Organisations can put themselves forward to the award or will be nominated by representatives of sustainable transport at Somerset County Council.

The application process is straightforward and you can apply at any time. Just explain what you have done in the preceeding 12 months under any one or more of the award categories. Each year we would like to award companies going ever further to help people get around in Somerset without a car.
